Blacksburg, VA—
nanoCom President and founder has received two
acknowledgements of his entrepreneurial spirit and business
achievement. Bob Summers has been name the Young
Entrepreneur of the Year by the Montgomery County Chamber of
Commerce and was named among the Top 20 Under 40 by Blue Ridge
Business Journal (www.bizjournal.com
).
The Blue Ridge Business Journal article published in the
April 22nd,
2002 edition focuses on 20 people in the Blue Ridge Region who
are under the age of 40 and are at the top of their
professional fields. Summers is one of two honorees under
30 that was included in the article.
The Young Entrepreneur Award, given by the
Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, is presented to a
business owner under the age of 30 who increases employment
opportunities with a company that has sustained financial
growth. Summers will now be entered for a state-wide Chamber Young
Entrepreneur Award.
